2021 On February 5-13, the international Erasmus + supported virtual mobility project “UnderSTAND” took place, which attracted more than 50 participants from different European countries, in cooperation with partners:

  • Asociatia Clubul Tinerilor din Sfantu Gheorghe – Szentgyörgy Youth Club (Romania)
  • YOPA – Youth for Civic Participation Public Benefit Association (Hungary)
  • Sharing Europe (Italy)
  • Rados Youth Association Stairs (Latvia)
  • Civilna, Edukativna I Transparentna Platforma (Croatia)
  • European Youth Center Breclav Z. S. (Czech Republic)
  • Hors Pistes (France)
  • Fundacja Kopalnia Inicjatyw (Poland)
  • Youthfully Yours Sk (Slovakia)

The project raised an important issue around the world – intercultural conflicts: ways to avoid and resolve them, how to better understand each other. The 9-day Zoom platform event defined what conflicts are, how they occur, and what their causes are. After clarifying the main criteria, roles about styles and methods, how such conflicts arise and how to resolve them were summarized and interpreted.

The main idea of ​​the project was to train young workers and leaders who work directly with people of different cultures, such as refugees, migrants, national minorities, marginalized youth, etc., tolerance and tolerance for each other. Participants also expanded their interculturalism, developed communication and conflict management skills and an understanding of how to work together.

The project took place on the Zoom platform in 2021. February 5-13.
