36 participants from Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Italy and Lithuania gathered in Zakopane, Poland with mission to find out what young people can do to protect our planet. While weather ouside was an unpredictable, volunteers though how humanity can use nature‘s resources at the same time without destroying nature. The main goal of Erasmus+ project “Planet 1st” is to make sure that young people are motivated to make a difference in their local communities. They spend a whole week starting February 24th, 2015 actively participating in all Planet 1st project‘s steps from planning to realization through outdoor activities.
On the other hand, the project‘s organizator, International Youth Exchange organization to be exact, also concentrated on creating international environment, so members could learn as much as possible, break stereotypes and discover ways of living in various countries. Isn‘t Polish mountains the perfect place for that?
